I heard that there is only one Stuka left in the world.  It was in an air museum in England last I heard.

There are two. One in London and one in Chicago. There are also two Ju 88s!

I'll have to look into that further.  I saw the one in London on a PBS program.  It was a Tank Destroyer used in Russia, but was missing the Anti-Tank guns under the wings.

It was probably a JU-87G. They had 2 37mm cannons under the wings.

There is another Stuka owned by it's old pilot, on a private farm, (In Seelow) it's been shot down over the Eastern Front, and I think it's one of the iconic B or D series Stukas. Last I heard, it was still flyable.

That plane has quite the story if anyonewants to hear second-hand. =P

Made in Germany during the second world war. It was shot down and the pilot made it out and towed it back home.

Good job. And a lucky pilot because the plane got barely damaged...

Thank you for kind words :D Pilot was lucky because... he was flying Stuka, not another plane :D It was a really demage-proof aircraft. It could land even seriously demaged.

"I told ya Gunter, go home, you're drunk, but noooo you said that a couple of drinks helps you to run the aircraft!"

Well... some drinks are sometimes necessary before stressful combat flight :D  And what you can see at the picture.... is a little accident at work :D

Perhaps the only worse day that a pilot could have is if the plane was outright blown up...

Very good detail, although the tailplane could use more definition. It blends a bit too much into the rudder and tail surface, in The-Necromancer's opinion.

Yes, the tailplane isn't perfect, it should be brighter on the edge...:D

at the very least, the pilot ought to undergo some intensive retraining...

Looks like that the dive bomber...just dived right into the point! Dx

That's pretty neat, love the tight crosshatching, gives a nice graphic look.

Interesting point of view, I have never thought about that in this way :D Yeah, that slight cross hatching is integral part of my style. I am really happy that you like it, thanks! :D
